Catechesis for Preparing Children for the New Translation of the Roman Missal
--
Sr. Linda Gaupin
The Constitution on the Liturgy directs that full, conscious, and active participation is the aim to be considered before all else for the promotion of the liturgy [CSL, #14]. The occasion of the new translation of the Roman Missal challenges catechists to seek ways to fulfill this mandate in light of the “new words” at Mass. This workshop will focus on practical catechetical techniques for use with children to prepare them to fully participate at Mass and at the same time grow in their understanding of the Eucharistic liturgy.
